The head of the Local Government Inspectorate is Michael Stefanovic AM. As the Chief Municipal Inspector (CMI) Michael is and head of the Inspectorate. He’s accountable to the Attorney General and provides reports and recommendations to councils and government.

Ross Millard is the Manager of Operations and leads the compliance team to conduct governance examinations.
