Media statement on Moreland councillor charges

The Inspectorate has been advised that charges have been laid against Moreland councillor Milad El-Halabi.

We will review the information on charges provided by Victoria Police and consider further steps to be taken. 

This can include lodging an application with VCAT for an order to stand down Cr El-Halabi until the criminal charges have been determined.
