Investigation into Central Goldfields Shire Council

The Local Government Inspectorate, as the integrity agency for local government in Victoria, is investigating serious allegations relating to Central Goldfields Shire Council.

We currently have a team of investigators at council offices securing documents and interviewing staff.

We are assisting council to ensure that council operations are not adversely affected.
