The Local Government Inspectorate has withdrawn its application at the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal to stand down Yarra councillor Anab Mohamud.

This decision was made after Victoria Police withdrew relevant charges that would have rendered Cr Mohamud ineligible to be a councillor under the Local Government Act 2020.

The hearing listed on 6 September 2022 has been vacated.
